London, October 11 : Few nurses in the UK have dropped their layers to pose for a 2010 calendar.

The women stripped to their underwears for 100 per cent Real Nurses calendar priced at 8.99 pounds.

Lucinda Gittins, a 24-year-old home carer in County Durham, explained her reason for doing the deed.

"I wanted to prove you can still be sexy once you''ve had a baby," News of the World quoted her as saying.

Lianne Pendergast, a 20-year-old psychiatric nurse in Manchester, added: "I saw the ad and thought, ''Why not?''. It was a great experience." (ANI)
