Unseeded Rohit Gandhi, 18th seeded Harish Mirchandani and 12th seeded Pushapendar Singh have advanced to the pre-quarterfinals in the fourth edition of the Poona Club-Manisha Open and Invitational Snooker Championship 2009 in collaboration with Manisha Construction at the Poona Club tables.

Rohit Gandhi upset 17th seed Sachin Sancheti of Hustlers 62-40, 30-55, 44-27 while 18th seed Harish Mirchandani of Mumbai defeated sixth seeded Divya Sharma of Tamil Nadu 57-32, 69-16 in the super league round matches on Tuesday,

In another match, 12th seeded Pushpinder Singh of Delhi was defeated by 10th seeded Rushabh Jain of Dadar 58-47, 59-46 and Jain advanced to next round of the Club- Manisha Open and Invitational Snooker Championship 2009.

Top-seeded Rafat Habib, second seeded M S Arun of Chennai, 13th seeded Roshan Mirchandani of Mumbai, 15th seeded Sonu Gurudatta of Poona Club, fourth seeded R Girish of Railway, 25th seeded Nishad Ghowghule of PYC Hindu Gymkhana were among the players who advanced to the pre-quarter round from their respective groups.
