Third consecutive defeat for India

South AfricaNothing is going right for the Indian team as India lost their last super eight match against South Africa. India had already crashed out and this was India's third consecutive defeat in the super eight round of the ICC T20 World Cup.

South Africa set target of 131 runs for India after South African skipper Grame Smith won the toss and elected to bat first against India. The man of the match AB de Villiers scored 63 runs in just 51 balls.

Chasing target of 131, flop show of Indian batsmen continues as India finished their inning at 118/8 in 20 overs short by 12 runs. J Botha took three wickets and Del Steyn took two wickets for South Africa against India.

South African team was looking to score a huge total as they got to a flier and scored 43 runs in just 5 overs for the loss of one wicket. But as spinners were introduced, South African batsmen struggled to continue the momentum of the inning on a slow and turning pitch.
