Washington, Apr 9 : Joan Rivers will be the next comic to go through the hit ''Comedy Central Roast'' session.

Comedy Central is planning to comically assault Rivers during a July 26 taping on the Warner lot in Burbank.

Rivers' roast follows the `Comedy Central Roast' special featuring Larry the Cable guy that yielded 4.1 million viewers upon its premiere.

The line-up of celebrities who will be roasting the 75-year-old comic actress has not been announced as yet, reports Variety magazine.

Joel Gallen, who''s produced a number of roast specials for Comedy Central in the past, is the executive producer of Rivers special.

Rivers' ''Comedy Central Roast'' will be aired on August 9. (ANI)
