Boys use pistol to rob shop of ice cream, biscuits
Wellington - Three robbers, described by witnesses as boys looking no more than 14 years old, robbed a suburban Auckland shop at gunpoint, fleeing with ice cream and chocolate biscuits, according to news reports Sunday.
The trio, who threatened Indian shopkeeper Shazia Hussain, while her 2-month-old baby slept in a back room, in Saturday's daylight heist also demanded cigarettes and money before running off.
Police were questioning a suspect, the Herald on Sunday newspaper reported. (dpa)
