‘Text message from other woman’ sparked Rihanna, Chris Brown feud

‘Text message from other woman’ sparked Rihanna, Chris Brown feudNew York, Feb 11: Popstar Rihanna and Chris Brown started fighting after the latter received a text message from another woman, according to reports.

Rihanna got annoyed after seeing the text message and dashed out of the car, after which Brown tried to pull her back in, eventually becoming annoyed and ended up bruising her.

"He got a booty call. He got a text. Rihanna saw it and she got upset. They started to argue. She got out of the car. He wanted her to get back in, so he grabbed her. She pulled away. That''s when she''s told people he hit her," The New York Daily News quoted a source, as saying.

Post the horrific incident, Rihanna is said to be recovering but has avoiding any calls from Brown.

"Chris has been trying to contact her. So far she hasn''t taken his call, Her family is on their way to be with her. She has some close girlfriend looking after her," the source said.

The source also laughed off new reports claiming that the fight began, as Brown got annoyed with the `Umbrella' hitmaker for spending too much time with producer Timbaland.

"That''s coming out of the Chris Brown camp, It''s despicable. They''re blaming the victim. She''s not prone to that kind of behavior. . . He''s the one who''s steppin'' out," the source said.

Cops have revealed that the duo was driving a rented Lamborghini on a ritzy street south of Rihanna''s pad in the Hollywood Hills early Sunday when they quarreled, parked, got out and "the argument escalated."

According to People. com after reaching the scene the cops found the popstar with a split lip and contusions on either side of her forehead, and bite marks on her hand.

Meanwhile popstar Kanye West, who toured with Rihanna last year, has uttered disgust over the alleged abuse incident.

"All I will say is, it''s so devastating. I feel like, just as a person, I don''t care how famous she is, or even if she worked at McDonald''s, that should have never happened," West told Ryan Seacrest during a radio interview.

"It should never come to that place," he added. (ANI)
