Melbourne, Jan 7 : Aussie beauty queen Jennifer Hawkins has managed to get on the nerves of some of her new Coogee neighbours with her all night partying.

Hawkins, 25, who paid 2.2 million dollars for her new pad in Sydney in November and moved in last month, has been having fun non-stop during the festive season.

According to the Daily Telegraph, a neighbour, who has had enough of the noise, said that he was organising a meeting with other concerned citizens, especially after the latest party ended at 6am, with the police being called in to quieten things down.

“Jennifer Hawkins has been keeping her Coogee neighbours up all night with loud parties and her newly-acquired property has not been quiet over the New Year period,” News. com. au quoted the neighbour, who wanted anonymity, as saying.

“The neighbourhood reverberates to unending beats and high screams and cries pierce the air - neighbours are finding it hard to come to terms with this.

“Perhaps she should have bought further north up the coast at Bondi - a location which would have better suited party princesses,” the neighbour said.

But other neighbours were not so much against Hawkins, and were very understanding, and one even complained of not seeing her enough.

“I wouldn''t comment about my neighbours good or bad - why would you?” one said.

“She just comes out, hops in her car and drives away,” an elderly lady across the road said.

Hawkins'' manager Sean Anderson was surprised about the publishing of the story.

“If I had a noise problem with a neighbour I would knock on their front door and speak to them about it,” he said.

He also added that Hawkins would not upset people deliberately. (ANI)
