NASA releases GoPro Footage

NASA has recently released a thrilling video of space exploration through GoPro, a camera the US space agency attached to a Falcon 9 rocket. The rockets are used for resupply mission to the International Space Station and launch satellites into orbit.

The video shows something very exciting - video of a camera falling from an airplane. It was later discovered by a pig.

Three Charleston tech company executives found a piece of SpaceX wreckage in the surf during a vacation in the Bahamas. It paved the way for posting a dramatic video from outer space this weekend.

A piece of debris was found by Blue Acorn CEO Kevin Eichelberger, Boomtown CEO Grier Allen, and PeopleMatter CEO Nate Dapore off the coast of Elbow Cay on May 29. It appeared to be a spaceship-looking carbon fiber panel.

It was learnt from the labels on a portion of the debris that it came from a SpaceX rocket. After further analysis, metal housings with lenses peeking out were found by them. They were surprised knowing that it was actually a GoPro video camera.

Eichelberger said in response to the video, "Still can't believe I touched something that's had such a beautiful adventure".

SpaceX is endeavoring to develop rocket reusable technology. If successful, the company would be able to bring down the costs of space missions by a big margin. It is believed the wreckage came from an April 27 Falcon 9 launch that carried a Turkmenistan satellite into orbit.
