NASA Rejects claims of asteroid hitting earth between September 15 and 28
NASA has rejected all reports that have been claiming a massive asteroid will hit earth between September 15 and 28. As per NASA, there is not even a shred of evidence till now stating that this incident will happen.
The impact will take place near Puerto Rico causing destruction in the Atlantic and Gulf coasts of the US and Mexico and Central and South America. T Paul Chodas, Manager of NASA's Near-Earth Object office, has confirmed that there will be no asteroids or comets that would impact earth anytime in the foreseeable future.
NASA said that there is less than a 0.01% chance for all known potentially hazardous asteroids to hit earth in the next 100 years. "If there were any object large enough to do that type of destruction in September, we would have seen something of it by now", affirmed Chodas.
