Musharraf, Soomro urge nation to follow Jinnah’s ideal
Islamabad, Dec 25 (ANI): On the birth anniversary of Pakistan Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, President Pervez Musharraf and Caretaker Prime Minister Muhammadmian Soomro today urged the nation to follow the ideals of Jinnah.
In his message, Musharraf said, “The day reminded us to work in the right direction. We need to work collectively for bringing a qualitative change for the betterment of the people of Pakistan."
Musharraf said it was a matter of great satisfaction that during the last eight years, we have been able to initiate measures that will go a long way to establish a dynamic Pakistan, as envisioned by the Quaid-i-Azam.
While Soomro in his message stressed for following the Quaid's message of unity, faith and discipline. He said that it could help to establish a conducive political atmosphere in the country.
Soomro recalled various aspects of the noble character of Quaid-i-Azam and said: "That still serve as a beacon of light to enlighten our path to make Pakistan a strong, prosperous and respectable member of the comity of nations," The News quoted. (ANI)
