McCullum says ‘ninth-placed’ Kiwis’ ODI series win over Proteas ‘among best ever’ Sydney, Jan 24 : New Zealand captain Brendan McCullum has claimed his ninth-placed one-day team's series win over a top South African team at their home is among their finest limited-overs series win.

Kane Williamson hit 145 not out to set up a 27-run win for New Zealand in the second ODI at the Diamond Oval and it gave the tourists a 2-0 lead in the three-match series, reflecting towards a major turnaround for a team that was thrashed by an innings in both Test matches, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.
