Maoists to hold separate talks with UML, NC
Kathmandu, Dec 20 : Amidst conflict over running the government among the political parties, the CPN-Maoist has decided to hold separate talks with the UML and the Nepali Congress.
According to Nepalnews, the meeting with UML leaders has been scheduled at the Prime Minister Prachanda''s residence this evening.
The discussion with the Nepali Congress has not been ascertained yet.
Maoists said that a joint meeting with both Neapli Congress and UML would be held after the separate talks.
The Maoist decision comes in the wake of incomplete shape of the Army Integration Special Committee (AISC).
The Maoist and the UML leaders have been discussing on including the Nepali Congress in the AISC for the past two days. However, no concrete decision has been reached so far.
According to Maoist spokesperson Dinanath Sharma, the meetings would dwell on making appointments in the constitutional bodies and the increasing differences among the three parties. (ANI)
