London, Feb 23 : As she shows off her baby daughter Ariana for the first time, new mum Imogen Thomas said that she never thought she would be this happy.

The lingerie model went through hell two years ago when her affair with married footballer Ryan Giggs came out.

The public hate and death threats she suffered made her turn to drink and antidepressants as she struggled to cope.

"I never thought I would feel like this. I don't want to sound cheesy but it is the best feeling in the world," the Sun quoted her as saying.

She said that before she became a mum, she didn't really believe it could be all that.

She said that she can't imagine her life without her little one.

"It's an amazing feeling," she added.

She said that having Ariana has given her a fresh perspective on what her own mum went through at the height of her notoriety, when Manchester United star Giggs used an injunction to gag Thomas from talking about their affair.

At the time, she suffered abuse online and in the street, even though it was Giggs who was cheating. (ANI)
