As per reports, the employess of the company will be working for at least 10 hours a week during their off-hours from their full-time jobs in return for a stake in the company. Ahlborn told Business Insider that at present, under this model, the company has a team of more than 400 people and a number of industry partners involved in the Hyperloop.
Ahlborn also said that this HTT's model has made possible for the company to attract people with a lot of skills since people can carry on with day jobs and also work for HTT.
Ahlborn said they are carrying out work with nearly everyone showing interest and looking forward to join them and receive stake in the company. According to him, "We have amazing team members with amazing backgrounds from psychologists and lawyers to people who worked on Mars Rover and that were part of the Manhattan Project...We are probably the largest startup, depending on how you define startup, in the country or in the world".
