The branch of US technology company Hewlett-Packard Company, HP India has unveiled HP Officejet Pro 8500 All-in-one Printer series in India. HP India has announced that HP Officejet Pro 8500 All-in-One series will be available on the Indian Market next month.

According to HP India, the HP Officejet Pro 8500 All-in-One series is the company’s top-of-the-line inkjet All-in-One series known for fast print speeds, embedded wired and wireless networking options and device management software. The HP Officejet Pro 8500 All-in-One series is specifically designed for small and micro business customers to help them save energy and stay productive. It is perfect for small offices and workteams that look for feature-rich all-in-one with built-in networking, 2-sided printing, ADF and more.

The HP Officejet Pro 8500 All-in-One comes equipped with powerful, cost-efficient all-in-one with wireless connectivity, 250-sheet input tray, 3.45-inch touchscreen colour graphics display, and automatic two-sided print/fax/scan/copying. It uses its intuitive color touchscreen LCD to preview, select and print high-quality photos from memory cards.

The HP Officejet Pro 8500 All-in-One is four-in-one ENERGY STAR qualified printer that saves paper and helps reducing impact of businesses on the environment, with its features including automatic two-sided printing and copying, a junk fax blocker, fax to network folder/email, PC Fax Send and scan to computer.

The HP Officejet Pro 8500 All-in-One is capable of printing professional color documents for up to 50% less cost per page and energy use than competitive laser printers. It uses newly developed HP Officejet pigment inks, for business use and plain papers with ColorLok technology, which allows water resistant and fast drying professional durable color printing. It prints more pages with high-capacity, individual HP Officejet ink cartridges that save from the hassles of cartridge replacements.

The printing speed of HP Officejet Pro 8500 All-in-One is equal to a laser printer with up to 15 ppm black/11 ppm colour, or at up to 35 ppm black/34 ppm colour in draft mode. It boosts productiveness with 2-sided printing, an Automatic Document Feeder, a 250-sheet input tray and more. The printer helps putting up to 10 users on a network, with the help of built-in Ethernet; it allows users to capture, manage and share documents with embedded wired and wireless 802.11g networking and Direct Digital Filing.  

The HP Officejet Pro 8500 All-in-One also features HP Smart Web Printing that optimizes printing from the Web, allowing consolidation and organization of pages for simple, predictable Web printing. It also comes with HP Easy Printer Care Software for easily monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting.

The base model of the HP Officejet Pro 8500 All-in-One includes automatic two-sided printing, a two-line LCD control panel, a 35-page automatic document feeder (ADF) and embedded wired networking. The HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless All-in-One includes embedded wireless networking, a legal-size scan glass, a 50-page ADF, a 3.45-inch color touchscreen LCD and Direct Digital Filing. The HP Officejet Pro 8500 All-in-One is priced at Rs. 20,861, while the HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless All-in-One is priced at Rs. 22,899. The HP Officejet Pro 8500 All-in-One series will be available in India and all countries in Asia Pacific region in May 2009.
