The government on Friday informed the parliament that the country is confronting an acute shortage of psychiatrists as well as mental health experts, and to overcome this problem, it is establishing centres of excellence in mental health.

The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the Union Health Minister A. Ramadoss over the closure of three public sector undertakings (PSUs) manufacturing vaccines like DPT, measles, polio and BCG.

10-month-outstanding mortgage.

Her mum Angela Suleman lives with her six older grandchildren and would soon have the house overflowing after her daughter returns with her eight babies from the hospital.

The Octuplets' granny, who bought the house with an adjustable rate mortgage on March 8, 2006, is facing a 23,225-dollar debt on a 453,750-dollar note and has not delivered any of her monthly 1,512 dollar instalments since last April.
