Mumbai, July 15 : Australian model-actress Kristina Akheeva, who shot to fame in Bollywood with director Sangeeth Sivan's "Yamla Pagla Deewana 2", says her family has supported her throughout.

"Support from the family is so essential and I'm glad that my family has always been there for me," said Kristina.

"My family was extremely proud and excited to see the film. They even photographed themselves with the standees of the film and cheered loudly when I came on screen," she added.

"Yamla Pagla Deewana 2" featured veteran actor Dharmendra and his sons Sunny and Bobby Deol. (IANS)
