Dilip Kumar expected to be discharged soon  Dilip Kumar fans have a good news. The veteran Indian iconic actor, who was admitted to a hospital in suburban Bandra due to malaria is expected to be discharged today.

According to the hospital authorities, the condition of Kumar is improving.

Speaking on this, a source said: "Since the fever was not subsiding, the family decided to admit him to hospital so that proper investigations can be conducted."

Kumar, who is in his late 80s, was admitted to the intensive care unit of the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on last Sunday.

Dilip Kumar was suffering from high fever and after proper investigation it was found that he has been suffering from malaria.

Earlier last year, the veteran actor was admitted to the Apollo Hospital in Delhi due to complications resulting from a urinary tract infection.

Among those who aid a visit to the actor include Yash Chopra, Dharmendra and Prem Chopra. Apart from these Bollywood personalities, Congress president Sonia Gandhi too walked in to the hospital to check on the yesteryears' supertar.
