Commonwealth Games delays for security concerns
The preparation for the Commonwealth Games delays over several venues at Delhi due to security concerns. The Commonwealth Games is to be held at the Capital of the country in the month of October this year. Various venues in Delhi are going to face delays due to serious security concerns.
The US and the Australia Government has also warned the Indian Government of possible terror attack in the capital during this international event. The CWG organizers are also accepting that it is going to be a tough task for them to systematize things on time.
Only five months left for the grand event but as per sources, the athletics stadium, swimming complex and Games Village have not been completed yet.
According to a statement issued from the organizers, there are lot more things left for the opening ceremony as well. The Games Village is still to be ready completely so that it the opening ceremony can be performed on 16 September. The colonies for the athletes are to get final touch. However, Britain has said their athletes will participate despite security concerns.
