Well …..The above statement is a possibility in near future with the advent of new magnetometer. This device works as a scanner and detects the magnetic variations occurring in the heart. These cardiovascular variations are detected by the device which helps in demonstrating the condition of the patient’s heart.

This is a much faster and efficient process compared to ECG (Electrocardiogram), ultrasound and the other existing cardiac magnetometers. The reason being , small portable device, simple to operate, ability to gather more information and significantly cheaper than other devices currently available.Detecting heart conditions of foetus but also, saves time via quicker response to the unprecedented activity  of the heart(as this device can perform over the clothes as well). It’s still in the process in making it a routine based device, as this comes handy for the skilled nurse and the doctors.

The gigantic form of this device (the magnetometer) was used in spacecrafts for planet explorations, detection of archaeological sites etc., as it works on the principle of magnetic radiations. Hence, its miniature form will be used for detection further cardio activities. Still on its pilot run this device has to prove itself till it marks its presence full fledged.
