California's unemployment rate falls to 8.5% in November
According to the latest figures released, California's unemployment rate has fallen slightly from 8.7 per cent to 8.5 per cent in November.
The California Employment Development Department(EDD) has said that more than 44,000 non-farm jobs were added in the state during the month. However, the experts pointed out that even as the unemployment rate has fallen it remains much above the national average of 7 per cent in November.
