Islamabad, Oct 5  An explosion took place close to the UN office in this Pakistani city Monday, media reports said.

The explosion was heard near the UN office in Islamabad's F-8 sector, DawnNews reported.

Geo TV reported that several people were wounded in the explosion. (IANS)
