Australian team has taken 3-0 lead in the seven ODI match series against England after defeating England by 6 wickets in the third ODI match at Rose Bowl on Wednesday.

Australian team chased the target of 229 runs for loss of only four wickets with nine balls remaining. C White was star of the match who scored a brilliant century. White smashed 105 runs on 126 balls. Australian skipper M Clarke also contributed 52 runs.

Earlier in the day, England batsmen once again struggled against the pace attack of Australian bowlers. A Strauss was top scorer with 63 runs as England team managed to score only 228 runs for loss of 9 wickets in their allotted 50 overs.

S Watson took three wickets while M Johnson chipped in with two wickets for Australia. C White was declared man of the match for his brilliant century.
