Aliens Exist and Help Create Peace on Earth, says Edgar Mitchell

There are a number of people around the world who may not believe the existence of aliens, but astronaut Edgar Mitchell has something to tell that could surprise anyone. According to Mitchell, sixth person to walk on the moon, aliens played a huge role in preventing the nuclear war between USA and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR).

While talking to the Mirror, Mitchell said that a number of alien spacecraft were seen hovering over a military facility that was the prime location of the first nuclear bomb detonation about seven decades ago.

The 84-year-old former NASA astronaut said it seemed like they wanted to know about military capabilities of our country. According to Mitchell, he talked to some people who thought aliens don’t want a war to be start on earth. They help create peace on the planet, Mitchell added.

Mitchell, who was American former naval officer and aviator, said aliens intervened in some tests that could lead to war on earth. They interfered in missile testing in the time after World War II, as per Mitchell.

He said, “Other officers told me UFOs were frequently seen overhead and often disabled their missiles. Other officers from bases on the Pacific coast told me their (test) missiles were frequently shot down by alien spacecraft”.

It is not the first time when the former NASA astronaut talked about his belief in alien life. About two years ago, he gave a controversial statement where he said that government did not disclose an incident that took place in 1947; some people believe that an alien aircraft had crashed in 1947 and government officials recovered some bodies.
