Gandhinagar, Feb 20 : The Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) prime ministerial candidate, L. K. Advani, on Friday started his poll campaign from his constituency here.

Advani has won elections four times from this constituency.

He was addressing the media on the sidelines of a function to inaugurate a gymnasium complex built by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation here.

The BJP leader confirmed his decision to campaign from here for the upcoming general elections.

"You have correctly assessed it. I have come to Gandhinagar for the campaigning and I will be coming here again and again," he said.

The BJP prime ministerial candidate also tried his hand at some equipments in the gymnasium.

Advani is scheduled to attend six functions on day one of his visit. (ANI)
