Adobe offers free Flash-enabled smartphones

Adobe offers free Flash-enabled smartphonesThe employees at the Adobe have a reason to rejoice as Adobe is offering free smartphones to all its employees.

The move which makes the employees a testing source for the next iteration of Flash for Android, version 10.1 has successfully been deployed at the premises of Adobe with the help of its partner Google.

This measure of "dog-fooding" its own platform is under speculation at the same time hunts for the mastermind behind this move. It is being guessed that it's a Google-led initiative, which in normal conditions offers either Motorola Droid or its own Nexus One smartphone.

This move replicates a similar step which was taken a month ago by Google where the developers distributed free handsets to all its employees in a device seeding program that aimed to encourage developers worldwide to develop Android applications.

However with respect to Google's relation with Adobe is peculiar as it utilizes Flash in Gmail and Youtube at the same time uses HTML5 and H. 264 who stand as ardent rivals to Adobe's Flash.
