2 Filmmakers want to make Documentary on Bill Nye
A lot is said about Science guy Bill Nye, but in reality, how much we know about him and answer would be not much. Two filmmakers want to change this perception. Jason Sussberg and David Alvarado have started a Kickstarter campaign to fund a documentary about Bill Nye the Science Guy.
In a Kickstarter video, Sussberg said Bill Nye has impacted them in monumental ways. He has taught science in quite an interesting manner to children. There are so many things that are not known about the man behind the bowtie and with the help documentary, they want to come up with an answer.
Academy Award-winning Producer Seth Gordon, Nick Pampenella and Kate McLean will produce the documentary. Till now, the project has raised little more than $5,000 and they want to raise $650,000.
Those who would help in the project stand a chance to win signed bow ties, custom limericks from the Science Guy himself. Also, people can win tickets to parties and private screenings, including one event with a guaranteed selfie.
The Kickstarter campaign is up from 31 days. Sussberg and Alvarado have done their homework and learned everything they could about Bill Nye. They are all set to make a documentary that will provide an access to Bill’s quest to change the world.
Both of them have asked people to help fund the project, so that they are able to make the documentary idea a reality.
