The Indian personal computer maker, Zenith Computers has launched a new laptop with an attractive price of Rs 14, 999. Moreover, the company has also launched a new desktop, which can be brought by paying just Rs. 11, 999.

These products are launched in the collaboration of global software giant Microsoft. The new products are launched under the brand name of ‘EcoStyle’. These product are very energy efficient and do not contain any toxic materials. They consume 30 per cent less power that the existing models. The Windows OS enabled laptop would be the cheapest ever model in the market.

The chairman of Microsoft, Ravi Venkatesan said that the company tied up with Zenith to make the computers more affordable to the people of India. Now people can enjoy the technology with low price and high quality.

The CMD of Zenith, Raj Saraf also expressed such sentiments. He said that the move of company would lead to make high penetration of PCs in one trillion valued Indian economies. Zenith is currently producing 20,000 units a month in its Goa computer manufacturing unit. It is planning to increase its capacity by thousands in the coming months.

The new products would be available from the month of October in the market.
