Karachi, June 13 : Zardari says 60 year old problems in Pak can’t be resolved in 60 daysPPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has said that he had a roadmap to stabilise the country by strengthening democracy and constitutional institutions, but added that 60 years of problems (which his country was facing) would not be solved in 60 days.

He said Karachi would witness unmatched development and progress during the tenure of the PPP government, but did not elaborate on his roadmap.

Zardari was interacting with journalists during a visit to the Karachi Press Club last evening.

He reiterated that the PPP-led coalition had an unwavering belief in the independence of the judiciary.

Answering a question, he said that he had been in contact with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain to keep improving relations between their two parties. He also claimed that the PPP-led government had the PML-N’s support at the Centre and it backed the PML-N government in Punjab.

Similarly, he said, the Asfandyar Wali-led ANP also supported the PPP and the MQM was part of the ruling coalition in Sindh and also supported the PPP government. (ANI)
