Islamabad, Mar. 17 : Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari has reinstated Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry as the Chief Justice of Pakistan, a presidential spokesman has said.

Chaudhry will assume charge on March 22.

Aiwan-e-Sadr spokesman said all restored judges would assume charges of their respective courts on or after March 22.

The formal notification regarding the reinstatement of the deposed judges of the superior judiciary is expected to be issued on Tuesday. (ANI)
