The Xenitis group, on Wednesday, has launched its 100cc motorcycle “Rock100” worth Rs 19,990.

The company’s new bike ‘Rock100’ has been designed and developed by Global Automobiles’ R&D. Its other features include a 4-stroke engine, electronic self-start and kick-start facility, aerodynamic headlight with halogen bulb and sporty indicators and many others.

Santanu Ghosh, Xenitis group Chairman And Managing Director said, “We are going aggressive for an all India launch of this revolutionary Rock100, the 100 cc performance motorcycle at the lowest ever price point by any 2-wheeler manufacturer in India. This will cater to the requirement of the common people of our country.”

The newly launched bike gives a maximum mileage of 125 km/litre.

Mr. Ghosh said the company’s two-wheeler plant has total annual capacity to produce 3.6 lakh units.

He also said that the company has already received an order booking of 1.6 lakh units to be supplied by March next year (2008) from all India distributors and booked a sales income of Rs 400 crore.
