Winehouse’s sober demands: teabags, brown sauce
London, Apr 16 : Popstar Amy Winehouse, it seems, is trying to remain sober during her Caribbean gig.
The 25-year-old crooner put an unusual demand of teabags and a bottle of brown sauce as she prepared herself to perform at St Lucia Jazz Festival next month.
"Amy has been missing her home comforts while she has been away," the Mirror quoted Winehouse's friend as saying
"When they said she could have anything, those were the two things she was craving from home," the friend added.
But the organisers had a tough time finding Yorkshire Tea and HP sauce in St Lucia.
"The only problem is finding them on the island. It has caused the organisers a complete headache," said a friend.
"Yorkshire Tea isn't exactly the most popular beverage over there, so they are going to have to fork out to have it shipped over," the friend added.
An insider said: "Amy has cleaned up her act since last year and is in a really good place at the moment.
"She still likes to party but, thankfully, these days her worst vice is downing a couple of shots of tequila," the insider added. (ANI)
