Trials to stop the Oil spill in gulf has acquired a new turn. The oil spill had done great damage to sea life and to energy giant BP as well. At last BP has taken some steps to tackle the situation.

BP was trying to insert a pipe into the damaged tube and the first attempt was unsuccessful. But the second attempt was successful.

BP was trying to insert a four inch diameter tube into the leakage area. This was confirmed by federal official of British Petroleum. If this step will work then spilling oil will be drained of to barges and floating tankers on the surface.

But the pipe jerked out after the umbilical cord of a Remotely-controlled Vehicle got knotted with the pipe's line to the surface. This has been reported by the sources. At the first try, when workers inserted the pipe into another pipe the inflammable gas got flared on the surface.

The company is planning to drain out oil and gas condensed to the discoverer enterprise drillship, which is prepared to split oil, gas and water.
