Technology company, Wickedleaks has announced the launch of its new quad core 7-inch tablet called, Wammy Desire 2 in the already crowded Indian market.

The Wammy Desire 2 comes with a 7-inch Inter Plane Switching capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels. The tablet comes in two versions; one runs  on Android JellyBean and another runs on the older Ice Cream Sandwich. The tablet is powered by a 1.4GHz Quad-core Samsung Exynos processor with 1GB of DDR3 RAM.

The tablet comes with an 8GB internal memory which is expandable upto 32GB using microSD card. The tablet comes with 2MP rear camera and 0.3MP front camera for video conferencing. Wammy Desire Tab 2 measures 196 x 118 x 10.9 mm in dimension and weighs around 298 grams. The new version is the successor of Wammy Desire, which is available for Rs. 6999.

The tablet is now available for pre-order in India and the company has said that the first stock of the tablet will arrive on 15 May, 2013. The Wammy Desire 2 tablet computer will come with a price tag of Rs. 9,999 in the Indian market.
