Washington, October 20 : Actress Whoopi Goldberg underwent an earlobe surgery recently to cure a mystery ailment.

She apparently revealed it while referring to the Colorado balloon boy incident, reports Contactmusic.

News networks had halted her interview for the breaking news on Colorado boy, during which she said: "I wasn''t watching the news because I was trying to have an operation on my earlobe."

The incident in which the boy was thought to have flown off in a homemade balloon, only to be later found hiding at home, allegedly turned out to be a hoax. (ANI)
