Surely special phone from Motorola – the recently announced Motorola Clutch i465 is specifically designed for the passionate texting enthusiasts. The Motorola Clutch i465, featuring push-to-talk technology, is the first handset belonging to Motorola’s iDEN (Integrated Digital Enhanced Network) line up.

The Motorola Clutch i465 is the unique phone that can satiate even the most serious texters and callers. The phone features full QWERTY keyboard with shortcut keys and software upgrades. Its push-to-talk technology functions like a Verbal IM that keeps users connected perpetually. The phone boasts of an IM-style texting feature that facilitates easy and comfortable responding to messages and following the message stream.   

The Motorola Clutch i465 is unique phone for its rugged military-grade capabilities. The handset can stand firm against solar radiations, vibrations, shocks and dust particles. The measurement of the phone is 2.1 x 4.4 x 0.6 inches, and its weight is just 96g.

The Motorola Clutch i465 comes with a 1.79-inch TFT LCD screen featuring a 128 x 160 pixel resolution and 64k colors. It also comes equipped with a 3 megapixel VGA camera with video recording capabilities, featuring a 300k resolution with 4x zoom. The other features of the phone include Audio player, Bluetooth 1.2, 5-pole, micro USB, and 2.5mm audio jack (mono).

The multiple messaging supporter, Motorola Clutch i465 phone offers support for SMS, MMS, and threaded messages, and predictive text and email. The phone also offers support for MIDI, MP3, WAV and ringtones. The phone supports 800/900 MHz band/modes. The handset is powered by 1130mAh battery offering 205 minutes talk time and 100 hours standby time.

The Motorola Clutch i465 comes with 20 MB of internal memory; the company hasn’t yet revealed any info about the memory expansion support. Motorola has announced that the Motorola Clutch i465 will be available through Boost Mobile in the Q2 of this year. However, Motorola has not revealed pricing details about the Clutch i465 phone.
