Wal-Mart Stores announces new Black Friday dealsWorld's largest retailer, Wal-Mart Stores Inc has announced several promotional deals relating to the Black Friday this year.

The retailer has said that it will make sure that all the retailers are able to get certain items. The company will start offering in-store specials at 8 pm on Thanksgiving on 22 November, which will be followed by an electronics event at 10 pm. The retailer also said that it will start offering weekend deals from 5 pm.

The Bentonville, Arkansas-based company said that it will begin its Black Friday sales two hours earlier than the previous years as it looks to attract more customers. Black Friday, which is one of the busiest shopping days in the US, is the day after thanksgiving when customers usually being the Christmas shopping season.

Duncan Mac Naughton, chief merchandising and marketing officer of Wal-Mart US said, "We ensure customers get the products they want for Christmas. The company has said that if a product is sold out before 11 pm, the customers will receive a guarantee card for the item that must be paid for by midnight and registered online.

The shares of the retailer fell 0.9 percent to $73.11 yesterday in New York. The shares have risen 22 per cent so far this year.
