In a move which will make Apple iTunes one-stop-shopping all the more attractive, bigwig retailer Walmart has come up with an offer of a 20 percent discount on a $100 iTunes gift card.

As a result of the discount offer from Walmart, the price of the $100 iTunes gift card will witness a $20 markdown to $80 --- a sale price which will make the gift card a rather compelling deal for customers who frequently purchase things from iTunes and other Apple online stores.

The iTunes gift card is an electronic card which is sent - through a PIN access email - to either the customer's own personal account or to the account of a friend, marked as a gift. On each iTunes gift card is a unique iTunes Store code that can be redeemed by the card's recipients while ordering music, movies, TV shows, apps, and other items which can be synced to an iPhone, iPad, or iPod.

About the discounted iTunes gift card offer, Walmart said that since the gift cards are neither returnable nor refundable, the recipients will have to spend the full amount on their purchase of items from Apple's store.

Moreover, according to Walmart, though the PIN access email will be sent to the customers within a few minutes of their placing of the orders, it is possible that the code may take up to 48 hours to arrive. The retailer, however, has not disclosed any timeline for the discounted iTunes gift card offer.
