UTV Software Communications, one of leading television and movie content firm, has witnessed a decline of 68.42 per cent in its consolidated net profit at Rs 10.35 crore for the quarter ended September 30, over the same period last year.

The company’s total revenues rose to Rs 237.67 crore for the quarter ended July-September, up 39.11 per cent from Rs 170.85 crore in the same quarter previous fiscal.

Further, UTV Software has reported an operational profit of Rs 18.10 crore, as compared to an operational loss of Rs 9.40 crore for the same quarter last year.

On the standalone basis, the company has reported a net profit of Rs 2.75 crore in the latest quarter, down 33.25 per cent from Rs 4.12 crore in the same period last fiscal.

The stock of the company closed today at Rs 426 on BSE. The counter has made 52-week-high and low of Rs 625 and Rs 182 respectively.
