Kolkata, Jan 15 - State-owned UCO Bank's net profit rose 43.22 percent to Rs. 245.8 crore in the third quarter, compared to Rs. 171.6 crore registered in the corresponding period last fiscal, the company said in a statement Friday.

Total income increased from Rs. 2,433.52 crore in the quarter ended Dec 31, 2008 to Rs. 2,608.76 crore in the period under review. (IANS)
