Trading Call Performance for Ashwani Gujral for Reliance, Bharat Forge, Britannia, Asian Paints and SBI

Market analyst Ashwani Gujral today suggested two BUY Calls and three SELL Calls for traders. As expected, Indian markets closed positive today with BSE Sensex gaining 232 points to close at 31,685. Markets touched intraday high of 31,970 and closed almost 100 points higher than its intraday low of 31,577.

Gujral had suggested BUY for Reliance with a stop loss of Rs 1,445, target at Rs 1,490. Reliance Industries opened near its yesterday’s closing rate at 1,464. The stock touched intraday high of 1,485 within a couple of hours. This call can be considered successful as the target price was almost reached. The stock however closed almost flat at Rs 1,461 and touched intraday low of Rs 1,445.5.

Gujral had suggested traders to Buy Bharat Forge with a stop loss of Rs 270, target at Rs 295. Bharat Forge opened at Rs 279 and touched intraday high of Rs 287.80. The stock couldn’t reach the target of Rs 295 but some traders could have made profit even while exiting the call. This call can be termed as moderately successful.

Another stock on Gujral’s radar for today was PSU banking major SBI. The call from Gujral suggested Sell for SBI with a stop loss of Rs 176, target at Rs 160. SBI opened at Rs 171 and touched intraday high of Rs 173.3. The stock touched low of Rs 166.55 and recovered to close at 171.95 (almost one percent higher). So, this call wasn’t successful.

Gujral suggested a Sell trade in Britannia a stop loss of Rs 3,020, target at Rs 2,900. Britannia opened at Rs 2,950 and touched intraday high of Rs 3,065. Stop loss at Rs 3,020 was hit during the first hour of the trade. This trading call FAILED.

Gujral suggested Sell CALL for Asian Paints with a stop loss of Rs 1,640, target at Rs 1,580. Asian Paints opened Rs 1,615 and touched intraday low of Rs 1,577 within 15 minutes of trade. The target was reached. This call was quick and the target was reached. Asian Paints closed almost flat as the stock recovered.
