T-Mobile gets Nokia’s “exclusive” Windows Phone 8-based Lumia 810

T-Mobile gets Nokia’s “exclusive” Windows Phone 8-based Lumia 810With Nokia having earlier announced that its new Windows Phone 8-based handsets - the flagship Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 - will be limited to AT&T, the company has now revealed that it is coming up with an "exclusive" Windows Phone 8 device for T-Mobile --- the Lumia 810.

According to the information by Nokia, the Lumia 810 will be a tweaked version of the Lumia 820; and will boast marginally-changed design and features than its 820 counterpart from AT&T. The T-Mobile handset has been specifically optimized to work with the carrier's fast-evolving unique 3G frequencies.

Despite the fact that Nokia is yet to officially reveal the precise specifications of Lumia 810, it has been disclosed that the handset will differ from Lumia 820 chiefly in the sense that it will lack LTE radios, apparently because the LTE network is not yet supported by T-Mobile.

Nonetheless, the Lumia 810 - which will support T-Mobile's speedy HSPA+ network - will be quite an attractive handset, and will reportedly boast a 4.3 inch OLED screen with Clear Black technology; an 8-megapixel back camera; a 1.2-megapixel front camera; as well as all the attractive Nokia offerings - including Nokia Maps, Nokia Music, and others.

While the pricing details and the launch date of the T-Mobile "exclusive" Lumia 810 are still awaited, T-Mobile has been emphasizing that the handset will be a "great value" device, which it will start selling in the "coming weeks."
