Saarbruecken, Germany - A 77-year-old man killed his son, 46, and daughter-in-law, 43, then turned his gun on himself, police in Saarbruecken on the western rim of Germany said Wedneday.

The Tuesday violence appeared linked to a feud in the family, who lived together in one building in the small town of Berschweiler.

Three grandchildren, aged 6, 17 and 21, were in the building at the time but were not harmed. (dpa)
