Tech Mahindra wins order worth $400 million from Etisalat DB TelecomTech Mahindra, one of the leading IT solutions and service providers to the telecommunications industry, has received an IT applications and infrastructure outsourcing project worth $400 million from Etisalat DB Telecom, to manage the IT applications and infrastructure requirements for its proposed roll-out across 15 circles.

Under the terms of the LoI (letter of intent), Etisalat DB Telecom and its subsidiary Allianz Infratec would outsource implementation of its end-to-end IT applications and infrastructure including system integration and managed services to Tech Mahindra.

According to an official release, the prime IT applications involve components in Business Support System (BSS) and Operating Support System (OSS) domain. The contract is spread over a 10-year period.

Etisalat DB Telecom, a joint venture between India's Swan Telecom and UAE-based Etisalat, along with its subsidiary has the Unified Services Access License in 15 circles across the country.
