TCS Q1 Income Up, Declares Dividend
Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS) has annunciated the following audited outcomes for the quarter ended June 30, 2007. The consolidated results are as follows:
For the quarter-ended June 30, 2007, TCS has recoded a net profit of Rs 1,202.93 crore while the same was at Rs 882.66 crore for the quarter-ended June 30, 2006. Its total income stood at Rs 5,364.67 crore for the same quarter whereas the same was at Rs 4,225.62 crore for the quarter-ended June 30, 2006.
The company has recorded a profit after taxes (PAT) of Rs 1,073.85 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as against Rs 796.69 crore in the corresponding period of the last year (June 30, 2006).
The total earnings of the group stood at Rs 4,335.74 crore for the quarter-ended June 30, 2007 as against Rs 3,432.85 crore for the quarter-ended June 30, 2006.
The company’s directors have announced an interim dividend of Rs 3 for every Re 1 equity share.
