New Delhi - Four students of a medical college in India's northern state of Himachal Pradesh have been arrested for allegedly beating to death a junior student, news reports said Wednesday.

Aman Kachru, 19, died Sunday after he was attacked at the Rajendra Prasad Medical College at Tanda town in Kangra district, about 240 kilometres north-west of state capital, Shimla.

Kachru was allegedly assaulted by the final-year students during a ragging session Friday night, the IANS news agency reported.

New Delhi - India is set to undertake a security review of key missions in South Asia, starting with Afghanistan, a news report said Wednesday.

Senior officials of the Indian Home Ministry, the Intelligence Bureau, central paramilitary forces and the National Security Guard (NSG) are to begin the review with a visit to Kabul, the Indian Express newspaper reported, citing official sources.

Mathura/ New Delhi, Mar 11 : Priests at Prahlad Kund in Phalen village in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura District celebrated Holi on Wednesday by walking through a fireball.

“We have been seeing this fair from a long time. Our ancestors said this fair has been held here for thousands of years. Priests cross the fire like Lord Vishnu’s devotee Prahlad. The Priests worship constantly for five days and bathe in the Ganges,” claimed Radhey Singh, a local.

In Delhi, people from all walks of life sprayed each other with colours.
