Washington, March 4 : Britney Spears lived up to the expectations of her fans gathered in New Orleans as she kicked off her first concert tour in five years.

The pop princess descended from the ceiling dressed as a ringmaster as she while singing few of her biggest hits, from the recent "Womanizer" to her debut song, "Baby One More Time" in a Circus-themed show.

The 27-year-old began her show with the title track of her latest album "Circus" before taking to a stripper pole to perform "Radar".

London, Mar 04 : Hollywood actress Rosario Dawson has revealed that her mother used to lick her whenever she misbehaved as a kid.

The `Kids' actress said that her mum Isabel licked the sides of her face in a bid to punish her, which actually worked.

"My mom licked me - that was her punishment. If I was a little uppity or if I didn''t listen or if she wanted to get my attention, she''d lick the side of my face or under my armpit," the Daily Express quoted her as telling the New York Times.

London, Mar 04 : Hollywood 1993 cult hit `Sleepless in Seattle' will soon be turned into a musical, as it is all set to make its Broadway debut.

The Tom Hanks- and Meg Ryan-starrer flick is being refurbished into a musical, reports the Daily Express.

Jeff Arch, who penned `Sleepless in Seattle', is working with composer and lyricist Leslie Bricusse to turn it into a song-and-dance production for the New York stage.

Washington, Mar 04 : Hollywood actor Andy Serkis will soon be hitting the studios with The Blockheads to re-record late rocker Ian Dury's beloved tunes.

Andy, who has been signed up to portray the late Blockheads frontman Ian Dury in a biopic, will rehearse classic tracks with The Blockheads band members.

The band members have given their blessings to Andy, and are thrilled about assisting him in re-recording their hit tracks.
