Mandeep Bhatia appointed as Business Head of NLD, Reliance Globalcom Reliance Globalcom, a venture of Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG) has entrusted the responsibility of Business Head to Mandeep Bhatia for its National Long Distance (NLD) division.

Bhatia earlier was working for Bharti Airtel as its COO for the consumer mobile business heading Mumbai, Maharashtra and Goa.

US drops motion against Ranbaxy laboratories

The largest Indian drug major, Ranbaxy has a reason to cheer. The US Department of Justice has withdrawn a motion against Ranbaxy Laboratories. The department had filed a case against the drug major over the quality of some drugs produced at the Indian plants of company. The department also alleged the drug major and its US consultant Parexel Consulting for concealing and forging the crucial data. The FDA had also banned 28 drugs of company before three weeks.

RNRL To Produce Reliance MoU In Court

The memorandum of understanding (MoU) between estranged brothers RNRL To Produce Reliance MoU In Court Mukesh Ambani and Anil Ambani would be produced in court on Wednesday. This is the basis of division of Reliance group of businesses between the two brothers. The lawyers for the Anil Ambani-owned Reliance Natural Resources Ltd (RNRL) confirmed they would appraise the court about the relevant contents of MoU to resolve the dispute in the largest corporate house of India.

Recap Partners to acquire Chennai-based HOV Service for Rs 950 croreNew York-based REcap Partners-LLC has agreed to acquire Chennai-based business process outsourcing (BPO) firm HOV Services along with its two units operational in Beijing and Hong Kong for total consideration of Rs 950 crore. 

In February 2007, HOV Services came in headlines when it acquired US-based Lason for $148 million. The deal was considered as the one of the biggest acquisitions in the BPO segment.

Oracle acquires Primavera Software

Oracle acquires Primavera SoftwareOracle Corporation, the world's largest enterprise software company, has agreed to acquire Primavera Software, a maker of project management software for an undisclosed amount.

Primavera's PPM software helps companies propose, prioritize and select project investments, and plan, manage and control the most complex projects and project portfolios.
