Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan recently refused to be the Indian face of a skin-lightening cream by L’oreal, the international cosmetic brand. Sonam Kapoor was later signed by L’oreal.

Sources revealed that it was the fairness cream that bothered Aishwarya. She said that she didn't want to promote a fairness cream especially in India where one's skin colour is such a big issue.

Shah Rukh Khan's Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi has created a record by occupying 7th spot in top 10 in UK, obviously owing to SRK's popularity in overseas market.

Despite not so great reviews in media Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi has broken all the records for box office collections for the year 2008. By the end of the day, the film would have collected around Rs 800 million which is the largest collection by any film in two weeks time in Bollywood this year.

Saif Ali Khan, who is undergoing treatment at Lilavati hospital for food poisoning, believed to be in better health now and is set to be discharged after two-three days.

According to sources, "There was a big Christmas eve bash at Saif's place last evening. But today since morning Saif began feeling unwell and complaining of a bad tummy ache. He also kept on vomiting all through the day. It was perhaps because of something that he ate last night. Finally his family members decided it would be a better idea to take him to the hospital for a better diagnosis and medication."

Much awaited film Ghajini by Aamir Khan, did a good business on the opening day breaking all records of the Hindi film industry. The film is released worldwide with 1,450 prints including 1,200 prints in India on Thursday. Overseas prints were released by Reliance BIG in various international cities.
