Tata Power All Set To Commission 3 MW Solar Plant By 2010 End
Tata Power, the country's largest integrated private power utility, will commission a 3 MW solar photovoltaic power facility in Maharashtra by 2010 end.
The new plant will become the biggest grid connected solar plant in the state.
According to company's release, "Tata Power aims to commission this first and largest solar photovoltaic power plant in Maharashtra located at Mulshi."
The company's executive director Banmali Agrawala stated that the solar power is succeeding well and will be commissioned later this year.
Tata Power on July 06 declared that the company together with its consortium partner - Arrow Energy has been granted the Satpura CBM block in Madhya Pradesh.
On July 07, the stock of the company ended at Rs 1,301.80, down 0.7%, on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The share price has seen a 52-week high of Rs 1518.55 and a low of Rs 1,064.90 on BSE. Current EPS & P/E ratio stood at 39.56 and 32.91 respectively. (With Inputs from Agencies)
